The bridge hero and detail shots

Theory: Why are we acting like there's a planet B? Ecological architecture design is able to be a part of changing that particular path were on; leading towards destruction. Through replenishable materials and their functionality, we have the ability to reliably regulate environmental conditions.

My consept and theory is focused on replenishable materials. Materials such as glass, metal/aluminium and plastic.
When it comes to plastic, ETFE is used (fluorine-based plastic) because of its ability to reliably regulate environmental conditions within the building through UV transparency.
Built on site with as few elements as possible.

External staircases made inside ETFE transparent plastic walls. Floating roof also made of ETFE. Walls made out of recycled plastic bottles. Windows extruded out of the wall, for sunshading, non-destructive solution. Windows made out of corrugated aluminium. External sculpture on windows also made for sunshading. Concrete columns for support.

Moving element 1: External magnet platforms. These are taking you from the squarehouse/roundhouse to different parts of the faculty using the power of magnets placed in the floor of the spaces  you can be taken to, and the ground.

Moving element 2: Adjustable internal blinds made to reduce heat when the sun is shining on the windows. Also for complete shade.

Common area viewing sculptures outside window giving shade to the space. Openness connecting the building to its environment, the room appears as floating. Materials of furniture is simple and used for a closer relationship to the pure and non-destructive.

Hero shot of faculty, viewing aluminium extruded windows and floating roof. Outside spaces between the internal spaces made to save some indoor common space and to get full use of all spaces reflecting to my theory.

Computer lab

two studio spaces divided with sliding glass doors, gives the opportunity for classes to work separated in groups, or if the tutor(s) wants to give all together a mini lecture/brief. All other lectures are online, recorded from office spaces.
